DFF Reach legal

Subscription, Cancellation & Refund Policy

Last updated: 20 September 2026

This policy explains the billing rules for DFF Reach when paid plans are enabled. The checkout, confirmation and billing pages shown for a purchase are part of this policy and control the exact price, currency, tax, trial and renewal terms for that transaction.

Billing at a glance

  • The price, billing period, tax, trial and renewal terms must be shown before payment authority is collected.
  • A user can cancel future renewal through the available billing controls; mandatory local cancellation rights still apply.
  • DFF Reach does not store full card or bank details and uses the designated payment provider.
  • Refund requests are assessed against the transaction, service failure and mandatory law rather than an invented global cooling-off rule.

1. Prices, currencies and taxes

The checkout page will identify the plan, brand or workspace covered, price, currency, billing interval, included allowance and any VAT, sales tax or other tax that DFF Reach is required to collect.

A price displayed in planning material, an unreleased interface or an unavailable country does not create a right to purchase that plan. The final checkout controls the transaction.

2. Trials and promotional periods

Where a trial or promotional period is offered, the service will state its duration, what happens when it ends and whether payment authority is required. A paid renewal must not begin on terms materially different from those shown when the user started the trial without appropriate notice or agreement.

Eligibility may be limited to new customers, new brands or one trial per person, organisation, payment method or workspace where this is stated and applied fairly.

3. Renewal and payment

Recurring plans renew for the period shown at checkout until cancelled. You authorise the payment provider to collect valid recurring charges and to use the stored payment authority associated with the billing account.

Where applicable law requires a renewal reminder or additional notice, DFF Reach will provide it. A failed payment may lead to a grace period, reduced functionality, retry or suspension as stated in the product.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel future renewal through the available billing or payment-provider portal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless the product states otherwise or mandatory law gives an earlier right.

Cancelling a Reach subscription does not disconnect social providers, remove already-published content or cancel a separate subscription held directly with a social provider.

  • The service should show confirmation that cancellation has been recorded.
  • You should keep the confirmation and check the effective end date.
  • Deleting an account is not a substitute for cancelling an active payment authority unless the product explicitly completes both actions.

5. Refunds and billing corrections

Refunds are not automatic merely because part of a billing period is unused, a user changes their mind after substantial business use, or an independent provider experiences an outage. DFF Reach will nevertheless honour mandatory consumer rights and will assess credible billing errors fairly.

  • A duplicate or unauthorised DFF Reach charge should be reported promptly.
  • An incorrect plan, tax or amount caused by DFF Reach should be corrected.
  • A material failure of a paid DFF Reach service may justify a credit, extension, partial refund or full refund depending on the circumstances.
  • Provider rejection, provider policy changes or an outage outside DFF Reach do not automatically create a refund, especially where other paid functions remained available.
  • A country-specific cooling-off or cancellation right applies where mandatory law grants it.

6. Upgrades, downgrades and price changes

The billing interface will state when an upgrade, downgrade or plan change takes effect and whether a prorated charge or credit applies. DFF Reach will not assume a proration rule that was not shown.

Material price changes to an existing recurring service will receive the notice required by the contract and applicable law before the changed price is collected.

7. Invoices and payment information

Invoices or receipts will identify the contracting entity, transaction and tax information available for the payment. Complete card and bank details remain with the payment provider; DFF Reach stores only safe references and limited billing information needed to administer the account.

You are responsible for keeping billing contact, company and tax information accurate.

8. Chargebacks and disputes

Contact support first where practical so a billing issue can be investigated. This does not remove a statutory right to contact your payment provider.

Submitting knowingly false chargeback information, using a service after claiming it was never supplied, or manipulating payment records may lead to account restriction and evidence preservation.

9. Global and mandatory rights

This policy is the global baseline. Consumer status and mandatory cancellation, renewal, tax or refund rights vary by country and may override part of this policy.

DFF Reach will add verified country-specific checkout wording or supplements where a market is actively supported and the local rule materially affects the transaction. It will not invent a global refund period and present it as universally lawful.

10. Billing contact

Contact support@directfoodfinder.com with the subject “DFF Reach billing” and include the Reach account email, invoice or payment reference and a concise explanation. Do not send full card details, bank credentials or one-time security codes.
